His ludicrous rantings back in 2011 turned into a cable news frenzy.
Harold Camping, a completely loony radio evangelist, predicted that the world would end on May 21, 2011. When the universe didn't go boom that day, he
amended the doomsday forecast to October 21st (apparently he was previously working on
Moonbat Central Time). He also had previously predicted Armageddon on May 21,
1988. Anyway,
Camping died at the age of 92 on Sunday—so his forecast
finally came true (for him, anyway). Camping was a sad, pathetic man—but we should mourn any death. Let's hope his spectacular doomsday failures will finally convince his "followers" that the rapture just ain't happenin'.
